Many families face paywalls, long waitlists, or personal reasons that make testing inaccessible. Our mission is to provide affordable online tutoring for dyslexic, dysgraphic, and discalculic students without barriers. While we fully stand behind our Orton-Gillingham (OG) tutoring approach, we do not guarantee specific results—every child learns at their own pace and in their own space.

  • What is Orton-Gillingham tutoring?

Orton-Gillingham (OG) is a proven, evidence-based approach used to teach students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia. It’s a structured, sequential, and multisensory method that helps learners build strong reading, spelling, and writing skills. At Bilgrav Learning, our trained OG tutors use this personalized approach in every session to make reading and language accessible, engaging, and confidence-building for struggling learners.

  • What does “multisensory learning” mean?

Multisensory learning means using sight, sound, touch, and movement together to help students connect with information in multiple ways. For example, a child might trace letters while saying the sounds out loud or use color-coded words to improve memory and comprehension. Our online OG tutoring sessions integrate multisensory tools to make reading, spelling, and math learning more effective for kids with dyslexia, dysgraphia, or ADHD.

  • How do you help students with ADHD?

We understand that many students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia also have ADHD. Our tutors use structured, short-segment lessons, frequent breaks, and interactive tools to maintain focus and engagement. Because our sessions are one-on-one, we adapt to each child’s pace and attention needs—helping students with ADHD stay motivated and make steady progress in reading, writing, and math.

  • How do you make virtual tutoring work for kids who struggle with online learning?

We know not every child loves being on a screen. That’s why we design virtual tutoring sessions that are interactive, movement-based, and highly engaging. Using hands-on OG methods, games, and real-time feedback, we help students stay focused and connected. Bilgrav Learning tutors bring warmth, humor, and structure—turning online tutoring for dyslexic, dysgraphic, and ADHD learners into a sustainable, positive experience kids actually enjoy.

  • How do you measure growth in dyslexic students?

When we accept a new student, we start with an initial evaluation to identify their strengths and areas for growth. Throughout tutoring, we track fluency, spelling, comprehension, coding, and decoding skills using ongoing assessments. This helps families see steady progress over time while allowing our tutors to adjust lessons as needed. Every improvement—no matter how small—is celebrated as part of your child’s growth journey.
